Tim's new Jeep is a mix of Willys and
Hotchkiss parts. The Chassis looks to be a Willys judging by the gauge of the
metal, later upgraded by Hotchkiss with the reinforcing channels. The front
grill, hood and screen appear Hotchkiss at first glance at the photos. The body
tub however has the curved reinforcing pillars ahead of the doors, and like
early Hotchkiss bodies, no reinforcing of the rear panel near the back seat. It
has a MALT rebuild plate of 30/1/73, but we are yet to see the original chassis
& French Army numbers.
