Fishburn
Airfield Fly/Drive-In - July 2nd
By Stephen A. Carr
The first fly-in
at Fishburn was in October last year. It was enveloped in fog for most
of the day, so for 2016, it was moved to July. In the main, the event was dry and bright, but there was a very strong wind and scattered showers around the rest of the country, that kept many flying visitors away. There were some aircraft flying and others on static display. There were also a good number of classic cars in addition to the military vehicles. Overall, the event seemed to go well, and hopefully will be repeated again next year.
The Harvard was giving flights all day and there was also a display by a Jet
Provost.
