Sunday 27th Dec, the Yorkshire group had its annual
'Freezer Run', or 'Christmas Crackers' as it has started to be known in recent years.
The hardy ones who felt they needed some fresh air after the christmas parties, braved the cold and snow and met at Lotherton Hall around 10.30 for a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich.

15 vehicles and approxomately 35 bodies set off on our 'tour' of the minor roads and villages of the area on route to
Wetherby.
What a great day, the sun was shining, and
yet it was verrry cold. We had a few brave hardy souls who came in Jeeps with the top down (see the pic of Chris Smythe, who looks like somebody out of the film ' the cruel sea').

The total route was just short of 40 miles, long enough for us to get really cold, and to appreciate the welcome hot food and drink that was waiting for us at the Wetherby sports
association. They very kindly opened up just for us.

You can see from the photos that there was a covering of snow, along much of the route. The photos show us at Lotherton Hall, half way regroup and at the end on a very slippery Wetherby car park.
Here's to next year!
