The Crank Up started at Tadcaster with around a dozen vehicles driving into York centre in convoy, meeting the rest of the vehicles at the 'Eye of York', the green beside York Castle. There were around 40 vehicles turned up in total, although some left early afternoon because of the mixed weather, which ranged from bright sun to hail stones. Vehicles from a range of eras were represented.
